Adam Levine...

...is quite certain he's the best lay you've [n]ever had.

This theme was rather prominent in Songs About Jane, but--I daresay--even more so in It Won't Be Soon Before Long. He certainly is a fickle little man. In fact, in between all the obsession and the indifference and the bragging and the begging on IWBSBL, listening to this album really does feel like getting jerked around by, well, a jerk. And, in a very odd way, I mean that as a total compliment.

Plus, it's a hot, funky little piece of pop. Mmmmmmm...Maroon 5.

I heard he's slept with half of the women in Hollywood!

I've heard both, actually--though I suppose both could be true. Overcompensating, perhaps?

I can't say I'd be 100% shocked if he was playing for the other team, but I would believe the gay rumors more if the "John Mayer is his boyfriend" part weren't attached. John Mayer just doesn't ping the gaydar AT ALL. Then again, both have been attached to J. Simp at one point. And certain girls do seem to be a magnent for that sort of thing.

Now, provided he isn't gay, I am somewhat inclined to take his "I am the most sexually potent man ever!" theory for a test drive, if you know what I mean. Very inclined, actually. God help me.

haha! yeah, i'd heard both, but most recently that he was playing for the other team. not the jm rumors.
he isn't unattractive. and talent always magnifies attraction tenfold for me.
